Pool-compatible design. Designed for use in pool-barrier configurations subject to compliant installation and site conditions. Pool-barrier compliance depends on the applicable NSW requirements, installation, finished ground levels, gate hardware, surrounding structures and site conditions. Final compliance should be confirmed by the appropriate qualified professional or certifier.

• Minimum barrier height used here is 1200 mm above finished ground level.
• Openings stay inside the check used for this pattern: vertical gaps under 100 mm, or perforations of 13 mm or less on a 1.2 m barrier.
• The pattern has no horizontal rails that could be used as a foothold inside the non-climbable zone. AS 1926.1 sets that zone at 900 mm outside the barrier.
• A pool gate still needs to self-close and self-latch. Latch release is generally required at about 1500 mm above ground, or lower only where the standard's shield rules are met.
• States adopt AS 1926.1 through the National Construction Code and their own pool laws. Some still cite the 2012 edition; others are moving to the edition called up by NCC 2022 or 2025. Use the edition your certifier applies.
